    Default Official Netcode CS:GO autoexec config - 08/10/2014

    Would like to let everyone know we have an Official Netcode config autoexec that we will be updating as we find out more commands. Thanks to Tengauge12 and Nya` for the hours of nerd research

    You may also find these commands useful it's completely at your own discretion to use:

    -novid -nojoy -noaafonts -nod3d9ex -processheap

    You place these into your Advanced Set Launch Options:

    Right-Click Counter-Strike: Global Offensive > Properties > Set Launch Options.

    You will find that some commands have '//' in front of them. I did that for user preference. You're welcome to remove or edit at your own discretion.

    Could you please expain me what the viewmodel_shift commands do ? I can't see any difference between my default value and 0.
    Also my bobamt_lat/vert differ by .1 but changing it to 0 doesn't effect it at all.
    My bob_lower_amt is on 5 and changing it to 0 has also no effect.
    The only command which seems to have an impact is bobcycle, which max value is 2.

    Btw you should notify the users of this config that the netsettings only apply for a 102.4 tickrate server. You have to change several values if you play on a 64/128 tick server, which will most propably be the case in the future since I think that these ticks will assert themselves (they improve the gameplay a lot: smoothness, hit registration..).

    Oh sorry about the server tic stuff, our leagues in the US are only supporting 102.4 tic. Once they allow 128 we will change it, but its just a simple rate change to support the difference.

    Sorry for the silly question but why must someone change all these values for better hit reg? Shouldn't the game adjust automatically?

    The main reason is the game developer think one way and other people think another. Also different leagues use different values.
